Food Review: Crepeman Cafe - Kapitolyo

My cousin Alyssa has been talking non-stop about a  place called "Crepeman Cafe" in Lilac St. in Marikina. She mentioned that her kids love it so much and the price was just cheap.
I was intrigued as I visited the FB page (https://www.facebook.com/crepemancafelilac) and I see a lot has been trying this new joint.
I wasn't that type to really go to Marikina just to try on some crepes, (not really a fan of sweets).  But due to insistent family demand to try it and that we had a branch in Kapitolyo made me say, oh okay! :)

I have personally been in to the Kapitolyo branch 2 times with my cousins.  So shall we continue with our review.

The Location:
This shop is located at 1st St. cor San Rafael Kapitolyo, Pasig City.  If you are familiar in Pasig its near Capitol Commons, Kapitolyo is just across it.  Upon entering the gate/guarhouse, its the first right turn and you will not miss it. It's side by side with Kanto Freestyle (see my blog about that too).

The place is cozy and only bad thing I can comment about it is parking, if you are not from the area and will bring a car, it's a 50/50% chance of hassle, since it's initially a residential place turned commercial the road is small.  It's just a quick 1-2 hour stop an chitchat with friends I would say as the place is not that big.

The Menu/Price:
Its' just simple Sweet or Savory type of crepes. It has it's unique names and description of what each crepe has inside.  They also have a section for add-ons if you like something extra.  Refreshments like milkshakes, fruit shakes, hot and cold coffee and tea are available too. A one stop chill stop I would say.  The price is affordable, crepes starts at 50 pesos for the basic chocolate spread to php 110 for more twist/toppings

The crepes are served in a cone type carton on a rack type thingy versus the usual type plates with fork and spoon serving.  (brilliant idea less hassle!)

Taste
First thing I tried in here is not the typical sweet crepe but the savory one.  I chose the Porky's Bacon.  Similar to a sandwich, it has the bacon pieces, corn veggies and mayo.  It's like a savory sandwich to me and it's filling.  For 110 pesos it's a good deal.

Next thing I tried was the Dental Floss, sounds weird right.  It's just pork floss, mayo and cheese. I like it but my cousin Alyssa didn't. Cost 100 pesos.

What's inside a Porky's Bacon Crepe
Mango Peach Crepe
Last were the Sweet Crepes,  we ordered the Ferrero Crepe (Nutella and Peanuts); Mango (duh! mango, choco spread, whipped cream and kisses);  Mango Peace (Mango and Peach, choco spread, whipped cream and kisses).  These costs around 80-100 pesos for the 3 crepes ad that's each.

Satified?!

Overall, the concept of these crepes is good, this is something you can eat on the go or while chilling down at the store with friends and family.  Their fruit drinks is also good by the way.

I hope you guys visit the branch in Kapitolyo if you are residing in the Pasig Area or anywhere near.

Let me know in the comments below what you think of this place if you hae already gone here or if you have any suggestions on where will be my next food trip! :)

Thanks,
